Frosty

Male – Maltese X – Approximately 8 Years.

ADOPTED

Frost was a very neglected dog when he was brought into the pound by rangers. His coat was so matted that his head was stuck down to his chest and shoulder and he was unable to move his head. It appeared as though he had been this way for quite some time. A groomer was called in to remove the coat. Frosty patiently sat while they carefully cut away the flea infested, stinking matt’s. Underneath the dirty coat, Frosty had many scabs and sores. He also had very bad teeth which must have been causing him pain.

Frosty came to us and went to his foster home. We gave him time for his sores to heal, and for us to get to know him. He is quite a playful dog for an older dog and is good to take for a walk on the lead. He does like to have affection but it must be when he is ready or he becomes fearful and self protective. Frosty is now starting to get back some condition and has had a full dental where we had to remove a lot of his teeth. He now feels fantastic.

We are looking for a mature and understanding home for Frosty. He is a delight to have around and we are dedicated to finding him a home that will make up for all the love and care that he hasn’t had in his life until now. Frosty’s adoption fee is $250. He is located in Bentleigh.
